OUR METHOD
JASystems takes
advantage of the latest computer aided design (CAD) and
computer adided manufacturing (CAM) technology to
digitally reproduce the Veterans residual limb and
fabricate their prosthesis. This method not only allows
us to produce a better fitting prosthesis, but also to
do it in one fifth the time the average outside
prosthetic vendor takes. Another advantage to this
method is that a lab does not have to house the means of
production. The practitioner treating the veteran can
electronically transfer the veterans digital information
to an offsite central fabrication facility where the
prosthesis will be made and express mailed to the
practitioner. The primary objective with this method is
to get the Veteran back on their feet as soon as
possible. |
